To start streaming, simply log in online, make sure you have an internet connection and asupported device, and start watching in minutes.

Is YouTube TV easy to use?
Ease of use, reliability and quality are at the heart of YouTube TV. Our goal is to provide an experience that is both intuitive and hassle-free. We recommend an internet connection of at least 3 Mbit/s for your viewing experience. With just a tap or a word, you can do things like: customize your live guide, record all episodes of your favorite show, or search for your favorite sports team.

Can I watch YouTube TV while traveling?
YouTube TV works across the US, with live TV available in the areas where we're rolling out. Your access to local area networks depends on the zip code you are in. Log in from home at least once every 3 months to keep your account active. (Note that you must subscribe monthly from home to stream MLB content.) You cannot access live or recorded programming on YouTube TV while traveling abroad.
If you want to watch YouTube TV while traveling without internet access, our 4K Plus add-on lets you save recordings from your library to your phone or tablet so you can watch them offline.

Are there really no DVR storage space limits?
You can record as many shows as you like at the same time without running out of storage space. We even keep every recording for 9 months. Stream from your library anywhere in the US.

Can I share my membership?
Yes, your YouTube TV membership comes with 6 accounts that you can share with roommates or family members in your household. (Ages 13+.) Everyone gets their own login, personalized content recommendations, and individual DVR library. Membership includes up to 3 simultaneous streams.

What if I want to cancel?
No problem - you can cancel at any time. There are no fees for cancellation. We'd be sorry to see you go, but we'll save your preferences in case you decide to restart your membership later.

Are shows available on demand?
Many networks provide current episodes of shows, movies, and more on-demand.

Does YouTube TV have ads?
Yes, since the live TV programming comes from network-related content creators, many of the TV networks that we offer have advertising.
When YouTube videos are shown on YouTube TV, the majority of the ad revenue from them goes to the creators of those videos.

Can I fast forward through ads?
Live TV: As with traditional television, you cannot fast-forward through commercials when watching live TV. However, if you're pausing a show, you can fast-forward until you catch up with the live version of the program.
DVR: You can record a program by adding it to your library. This means that all broadcasts - including upcoming broadcasts and reruns - are automatically recorded. Typically, you can fast-forward commercials in recorded programs once they have aired live on TV.
Video on Demand: Many networks offer current episodes of shows, movies, and more on demand. If you have recorded a show that is available on demand at the time you watch it, in some cases the on-demand version will play instead of your recording. You typically cannot fast-forward through ads while watching on-demand videos.
YouTube videos: If you're a YouTube Premium member, you won't see ads in YouTube videos on YouTube TV. If you're not a YouTube Premium member, you'll see ads on YouTube videos, which helps us support the creators of those videos.

What devices can I watch 4K quality videos on?
4K playback is only available oncompatible devices. 4K Ultra High Definition playback is available with our 4K Plus add-on for select live and on-demand content on YouTube TV.

What is the difference between YouTube TV and YouTube Premium?
YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service featuring major channels and popular cable networks. YouTube Premium offers you YouTube and YouTube Music ad-free, offline and in the background.
YouTube Premium is not included with your YouTube TV membership. However, if you are a YouTube Premium member, you can watch YouTube content (including YouTube Originals) ad-free on YouTube TV.
