My husband and I have been trying to get our "trial contacts" since the end of JANUARY! When my husband's glasses came in they NEVER checked to make sure they fit; he could see OK - NOTHING! When we returned the second time they STILL didn't have the right contacts. A new computer system is to blame! When we got word that our test contacts were in, I called to set up another appointment - I was told the system was down and they would call me back shortly. I waited a day - NO call so I called her. The system is STILL down. I waited 2.5 weeks, went online and made an app - which, guess what - had to be canceled as the Dr. wasn't in!

We will NEVER - EVER return here! This is the most incompetent doctor's office I have ever seen!

Desired result:We want our trial lenses, my glasses (which I've had to wait for almost TWO months for) and our Rx's for our lenses and glasses!

The lens fell out twice, brought them back, they said they fixed it. I haven't picked her up yet.

My other problem is when I'm wearing my prescription sunglasses and especially looking out the side and looking through the rearview mirror at the back of the car. I see rainbows on the cars that I can't drive like that. Very uncomfortable. A lady said I should take care of it. NO! I haven't picked them up yet, but if the problem with the rainbow looking at my glasses from the side and back still occurs!

contact lens

I had an appointment at your Lexington Mall location on 07/01/2023. After my visit, the fees I was charged were misrepresented and I didn't save any money. I was told that the office offered price adjustments for my contacts. The complaints are listed below

1. I was billed $40 for an eye exam to be billed to my company

2. The contacts should be priced appropriately because I usually buy them at 1800 contacts. I was told I would pay $104.00 per box where 2 boxes would be $208

3. My total charge was $329.96. not sure what the additional fees add.

Surcharge for contact check

I went in to update my prescription, got the usual form saying the adjustment would cost ~$55-$155 if insurance didn't cover it. When I got the dr. who asked about my previous prescription, Dr. said the prescription was the same and in fact just put the same values/brands in their system. Went to check out was told insurance doesn't cover this type of test and they gave me a $200 bill. I'm not sure how they came up with that amount but they said it was standard. I would understand if an actual fitting or prescription for new lenses was done, but copying my old ones and charging $200 seemed way too high, and it wasn't even the first time they had overcharged me before and didn't even tell me a credit/refund was due for two years. Some of the NJ stores seem a bit dodgy.

Poor vision test, cheap frame quality, broken lenses, poor customer service.

I never received my glasses

I was misplaced from the 15th & walnut, any paperwork they don't put in the paperwork is 3 months or more ago. I have cataracts in my left eye and have filed a complaint with Keystone Insurance. David Vision says they're not doing it right, my cataracts are worse I don't have glasses now I'll get a lawyer to sue for neglect When I said I'll get a lawyer they laughed that's a neglect from there

I bought a pairKate SpadeGlasses 2019/2020 (approximately) I went for an eye exam on August 4, 2022. I was not told that the computer imaging was not covered by my insurance ($40.00) (and that it is optional). I also had to have my eyes dialyzed (100% covered by my insurance) as the imaging was not 100% clear. I would have preferred to only vote if that is more accurate and covered 100% by my insurance.

In the end I decided to get glasses (theKate Spadeglasses) with new lenses. My insurance company charged me $10.00 for plastic frames.

Two weeks later I was called to collect my glasses but when I got them I could tell my lenses were not updated.

A message was left on 8/31/22 that they needed to discuss a situation regarding my lenses with me. I called back 9/1/22 and spoke to a gentleman who said he didn't have a record that I boughtKate SpadeGlasses from them in the past (their system said I bought some Burberry glasses (which I did but traded in for them).Kate Spadesame visit).. and that these lenses must be polycarbonate as they are rimless at the bottom. The first order when I first bought the glasses were plastic lenses (which cost me $10) with my insurance company. Now I am told that this is no longer an option and I have to pay another $40.00. I don't understand the separation. 1. I don't understand why theKate SpadeGlasses are not displayed in the system? 2. Why were glasses initially allowed to have plastic lenses? 3.Why was I called to collect my glasses and was given my old lenses as if they had been updated? 4.Why would I have to pay another $40 for a different type of lens (I wasn't told this when I bought the frames and I had plastic lenses to begin with)? 5. Why would I agree to computerized imaging when dial-in is more accurate and free under my insurance?

Wrong billing

Hello, my name is Theresa Goldsmith, I had an eye exam scheduled for August 1st, 2022. I was asked if I had insurance and I informed that I have insurance, I have VSP through my employer. The lady said ok yes we take this insurance. During my exam I had a retinal exam and was told my insurance might not cover it but they would bill and see. I told them I'm diabetic and they usually cover it up. After my meeting with the doctor, I looked up frames and asked if they had other options. The lady on reception who I believe was the assistant manager said they have more options at the Greene as it is a larger shop. Then she told me that the Trotwood shop didn't have a permit for VSP yet and that I would have to go there if I wanted to use my insurance on frames. When I left she gave me my prescription and that was it. No bill nothing, I just pulled mine upetnaaccount and see where you billed me $354. My share of the bill is $123. That's ridiculous. I won't let itetnaPick that up and I won't pay $123 for a service your store lied about. My co-payment for my VSP insurance is $10. Please contact me at [protected]. I visited one of your stores on May 13, 2022 because I was having some problems with my eyesight, reading and distance and thought I just needed new lenses. The exam showed I had cataracts, but he still wrote out a prescription for new glasses. When I picked up these new glasses on May 21st, I couldn't see any better than before! No improvement, no change. The manager even told me I have cataracts. I was charged $493.78! It was all a bit confusing. I went to an ophthalmologist on June 2nd and was scheduled for surgery on June 22nd and July 5th. I had my cataract removed. I feel like I was taken advantage of and cheated out of my money by the Pearle Vision staff. I am requesting a refund of thein totalAmount I was charged.

I thought I just needed new glasses! At Pearle's, he told me I needed to have cataracts removed, but adjusted my prescription anyway. I am older and living on a fixed income from Social Security. The glasses are of no use to me now. I feel like they took advantage of me and weren't honest. Please refund my $493.78. Order number 9261446, located at 1369 24th Ave., NW in Norman, Ok, 73069.

Choose PV as a big name in the industry. had testing another seller but not open sa to shop and discuss rx in old frames i wanted to use. so i used . $283.00 with my receipt. told 3 weeks out. What? only lab in TX. OK. Call 3 weeks later and say they are expediting as they need to ship to Tampa Florida which is only 20 minutes from St. Pete where I am staying. said that TX does not make transitions. glasses in finally and not good. said my frames too small for rx. had to buy new frames from them...just a few days, should be there. 3 more weeks later still no glasses. one excuse after another. not at all with them ever again. bunch of BS. Memories are nice but so tired of waiting now. old glasses so scratched that it's hard to see. tried to be patient but it wears very thin now. Like all businesses today, nobody wants to work and keep a job. and with the technology we have today, 1 week should be all it should take. That was all it took before we had high tech stuff to make our glasses. such BS.

Customer service is out the door. My mother was waiting for an answer to complete her exam. Pearle Vision was expected to request records from another doctor. I call and the young lady pretty much brushed me off and said they would call her. I checked with the other doctor and they said they never contacted them.

I contacted Pearle again and asked the same question and received the same experience. I even provided the name of the person they should communicate with to get the records.

I am tempted to call and leave messages. IsayingWe go to another place or to another company. So don't go to the BridgeWater Falls location!

Desired result:Want a refund of the co-payment if they cannot complete the exam. Refund.

02/21/2022 According to your documents, I and my insurance company were charged for an alleged unauthorized intervention. The account number is [protected].

1. I have not been informed that this procedure is taking place. The costs were therefore not discussed.

2. The billing date was 4/20/22, months after my visit.

3. I feel this is medical gaslighting and my civil rights have been violated.

4. I am making a complaint to my health insurance company.

5. I want these charges overturned, I want you to never use my health or vision insurance again.

6. This atrocity took place in your legacy village, Pearl Vision

Pearl Vision Customer Service

Called to make an appointment. The womanclearlydidn't want to be at work, she was in a bad mood and pushed me off the phone. I tried asking her about insurance and co-payments. I was told that I have to pay a $10 co-payment for the exam. At the appointment, the door to the store was locked, so I patiently waited for them to open it. The customer who came in after me pulled on the door and the rep yelled, Hold up, I'm here lady, pretending to be uncomfortable. I'm not sure why she didn't unlock the door right away. It was 3 p.m. The doctor widened my eyes BEFORE putting new contact lenses in my eyes so I couldn't get a good reading. He said, well, just wait for the dilation to wear off. When I went to pay it was $110 not $10 and they didn't accept my Exam on Us coupon from Pearle Vision website. I just paid and drove on. So I've been calling for 3 days now... left a message on their voicemail... and no one will answer me. The contacts DO NOT WORK properly. They need to be adjusted, but I can't get anyone to answer me. Tried to go in person on my lunch break but they were closed with a 'Be back later' sign on the door. This is so unprofessional guys. I chose Pearle Vision because of the quality... and is that what you allow? Not OK.

Desired result:I want a refund for the test so I can go to another doctor and get an effective prescription.

overloaded for regular eye examination

I had a regular eye exam appointment with a $10 co-payment. ticked the box that I do NOT want any eye photos.

was charged anyway and told it is now required and that I would have to pay for itin totalCheck if it hasn't been done.

I later called my insurance company and they said photos are not and still are not required for regular checks and that I was misled.

I tried calling the office back but got no answer.

Desired result:want a refund of $39

My appointment on March 3, 2022 at 10:40 am

I arrived 20 minutes before the correct time. had filled out all the papers before arrival.

1 doctor and 6 patients are waiting. I could have stayed home for another hour. YOU KNOW WHEN YOU RUN BEHIND. Act like you care about people's time.

after 1 hour and 20 and had more ahead of me for asking. I told them I have 10 minutes to get in or I have to leave. She said she couldn't do 10 minutes.

I will fill withbetter office. I'll call the office now. I will send my company's FEE SCHEDULE. You owe me $200 in missed work.

I doubt I will be returning to Pearle Vision for myself and my daughter and will be sharing this news with high priority. I don't like being treated like I don't matter.
