Alove my fitbit versa. Bought from Amazon in July 2018 to replace my trusty old flame. Great that it comes with two straps. The lavender fabric is fabulous but can get dirty easily so it's best to use the black silicone strap daily and save the fabric strap for going out. I bought both a screen protector and a frame protector (to protect the rose gold) and am happy with both. Versa works fine, haven't added music yet or paid for fitbit as my bank isn't on the list yet but hopefully that will follow. Goes well with the iPhone for connected GPS which I use a lot.
I finally gave in and bought a fit bit so I'm autistic and very scared so it's really good for measuring my heart rate to see what's bothering me and I would recommend it to my students (I work with young people with special needs). . I also have kidney stones and PCOS. If you get an app on your phone called My Water, the notifications on the Fitbit can come through, and you can track your period on the Fitbit and your sleep pattern. So you can choose your watch face and even have one with a picture if you want. If the Fitbit app itself is fun, there are walking competitions and you can get trophies and walking stuff. It's great at the gym because I can track all the different types of exercises I'm doing. I also subscribed to fitbit coach and you can see the trainer on the fitbit showing you the exercise and let me tell you its a real workout and you can do it at home with no equipment for days, when you don't get into the gym the battery life was decent and with my bluetooth and lots of use it lasted 4 days. it's nice that i can use my apple pay on the bus and there are a lot of cool apps, just wish there was spotify.
I researched various fitness trackers online before finally deciding on the opposite. I wanted a watch with all the features of a fitness tracker/smartwatch, but also looking like a watch and not a flimsy fitness bracelet. I've had the watch for a couple of weeks and I have to say I was really impressed with its functionality and looks. I wanted a different colored strap to the gray it came with but 3 for £11 didn't add much more to the cost of the watch. This watch and accompanying app made me really think about how many steps I took in a day, active minutes, how well I slept and helps me better manage the amount of water I drank daily to keep an eye on. I also like the female health features. I have no complaints with the watch in the time I have it and I really hope it will help me achieve my fitness goals.
So I waited a few weeks to post my review of the Fitbit Versa as I wanted to give it a fair shot beforehand. Before purchasing I had a few concerns about the watch from previous reviews, the main ones being battery life (some people reported that this went away after using it in the pool), compatibility with my Android phone and ease of changing straps . Although some people are bothered by the GPS being connected to your phone, it doesn't bother me as I don't use the watch for things like running. Addressing these three concerns first, I needn't have worried: 1. I recently swam in the clock at Center Parcs. Not only did it work perfectly in and out of the water with no ill effects, but it also worked perfectly to detect that I was swimming to monitor my activity, which is great. None of the LGs are listed by Fitbit as supported devices, but I took the plunge anyway. I had no problem syncing the two at all.
I just couldn't justify an Apple look (I have a dress that's almost twenty-five years old now and didn't cost much more, but I know it's not the same). The Versa isn't nearly as smart, but it can be a checkout, a tracker, and looks reasonable, so for me it's effective. It arrived as intended, just packaged and so easy to set up (just shouldn't have started at 11:10pm as it usually takes around 30 minutes). I also upgraded the strap a lot as I really don't like the sense of the plastic (shame especially as the color was good) and all the features seem to get the job done as competently as their other trackers. The screen is a massive improvement over the other Fitbit trackers I've owned (due to the size, color, and ability to go outdoors), and I'm happy with it. As with any new toy (no excuses), you'll have to dig into its features, even if you'll almost certainly never use it later. Nowadays it feels painfully gradual (it's basically why I'm composing this as the download suggests it will only last 37 minutes for around 50 tracks). It also may not be very intuitive.
I bought an Apple account because I bought an iPhone (I'll probably change it soon, but now I have an Apple iPhone). I thought it made the most sense. I'm not examining the Apple Watch here, but here are the points: The Apple Watch wouldn't have an online dashboard to view/analyze your bottom lines/runs/heart/rest - Fitbit does. In fact, the Apple Watch won't even have a built-in snooze monitoring feature (yes, there are third-party programs, but that's a different matter than the level), you only have to roughly cost the Apple Watch at this point about every day , or on the 2nd day if I'm lucky. 3-4 times under a demand and it has developed sleep tracking. It's really, really hard not to like the fitbit versa. It won't turn out to be a smartwatch, but it does have smartwatch features e.g. G it vibrates/notifies you of an incoming SMS/iMessage. But if, like me, you walk, have surgery, martial arts, or swim, then you can take a critical look at the Fitbit. The heart rate check is continuous, unlike Apple's check which only monitors every 10 minutes. This means you can expect to receive much more accurate, actionable information. Connected GPS works like a wish - and saves battery power. Just swipe over "Training" and tap on it. Then select the activity you want to do, e.g.
I got myself a charcoal se and a lavender se for my husband or wife. The problems started immediately when the Fitbit application asked for a firmware update. Downloading was incredibly sluggish and the app crashed 3 times during the update using a Samsung Galaxy S8. The firmware update was able to proceed each time, but it took over an hour. Setting up the music grip was also quite complicated (page 58 in the web manual), it's not entirely intuitive and the requirements have to be paired a second time to start timing. And it didn't work for the Spotify app on my phone until I finally went into the application permissions on my phone and authorized all the permissions (may only need to grant the phone permission). My first lavender se (reward to my lover) didn't have a working HR monitor. The eco-friendly lightweight on the back did not blink, and the check-out confrontation only confirmed two dashes -. I've tried using everything, resetting to production plant options, pairing with the phone, etc. In a working view, if you lift the watch a little off your wrist, you'll see the light blink, or it will blink briefly when you take it off your wrist until it detects that the watch is off.
- Works well with my Android despite not being a Fitbit "supported device".
- Buggy software, quality control issues, but a beautiful smartwatch that appeals to both genders.
- Love it! 🙂
